I tried out the Advanced Trades section and was pleased to find that the platform supports different order types, like take profit, stop loss, market, and limit.

But one of the best educational resources is the demo account. It’s a great way for users to get hands-on experience with trading, but without any risk to their actual funds. I found it a pleasure to work with, and it uses live prices so you get a very accurate simulation of trading and investing.

You won’t need to go through KYC verification to make a deposit. So once you sign up, you can fund your account and start trading immediately.

Still, it’s advisable to verify your credentials first. This will involve uploading a government-issued ID and providing a proof of residence.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

I personally prefer using a broker that supports credit card account funding, but not all do. InvestMarkets does, and this makes for a seamless funding process.

If you’d rather not use a credit or debit card, you can also deposit funds using e-wallets or bank transfers.

There is a minimum deposit amount is $200, which can be particularly steep for some users.

There is also a $120 minimum for withdrawals using bank transfers. Withdrawal requests take 24 hours to process, so don’t wait until the last minute.

Deposits are free, whereas withdrawals will have fees, depending on the method you use:

• Perfect Money or Skrill: 2%

The Basic and Gold accounts do come with one free withdrawal, however. Platinum accounts come with three, while VIP users get no withdrawal fees whatsoever.

InvestMarkets charges zero trading commissions, regardless of the order. Instead, it makes money via spreads. Those spreads depend on the type of account you’re using:
